Nuttall Brown & Coutts (“we,” “us”) is a Utah personal injury law firm at 6925 Union Park Center, Suite 210, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84047. This policy describes information collected through this website, including the free case-review form. It is not legal advice, and using the site or sending a form does not create an attorney-client relationship.

What we collect

If you use the case-review form or contact us, we collect what you type: typically your name, phone number, email if you provide one, and a description of what happened. If you call 801-255-2102, we collect what you tell us on that call. Our site may also log ordinary technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, the same way most websites do.
Do not send Social Security numbers, full medical records, or other sensitive files through the website form. If we represent you, we will explain how to send sensitive documents through the firm’s approved channels.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to your inquiry, evaluate whether we can help, conflict-check, and, if you hire us, to handle your matter. We may also use it to operate and improve the website, and to meet legal or ethical duties (for example, recordkeeping or a subpoena).
We do not sell the information you submit in an inquiry. Our website also uses analytics and advertising-measurement services, described below. The conversion-tracking code does not send the contents of your inquiry form to Google.

Who we share it with

Firm lawyers and staff who need it to respond. Vendors who host email, the website, or similar tools, under a duty to keep it confidential. If you become a client, we may share information as needed with insurers, medical providers, courts, or experts on your case, consistent with our ethical duties. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies, analytics and advertising measurement

On our live website, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand website use and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure advertising responses. These tools can use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about pages viewed, browser and device characteristics, referral information and interactions with the site. Your browser also sends technical information, including your IP address, when connecting to Google’s services.

We measure accepted case-review form submissions and clicks on the firm’s phone links. A phone-link click does not tell us whether a call was connected. The conversion event sent by our website code does not include the name, phone number, email address or description entered in the inquiry form. Inquiry details are sent separately to the firm’s form service so we can respond.

You can manage cookies in your browser, use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers, and review your Google advertising preferences. The Analytics add-on does not disable every advertising or measurement tool, and changing advertising preferences does not necessarily stop measurement. How long we keep it

Inquiries we do not take are kept only as long as needed to respond and to meet recordkeeping rules, then deleted or stored with restricted access. Client files follow the firm’s file-retention policy, which is longer.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information sent to us. No website or email is completely secure. If a matter is urgent or sensitive, call 801-255-2102.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them through the form. A parent or guardian should contact us about a child’s injury.

Your choices

You can ask us what we have from a website inquiry, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing scottbrown@nuttallbrown.com or calling 801-255-2102. If we already represent you, file requests go through your lawyer, not this form.
